The finale of the fourth annual Monster Piano Concert at Nicholls State University featured 21 pianists, including faculty, students, alumni and guests, playing on 21 Steinway pianos. The concert in Talbot Theater marked Nicholls’ official acceptance as an “All-Steinway School”. This event also stands as the largest collection of pianists and pianos to perform simultaneously in the state of Louisiana.
