Esther Seung-Hyun Lee

Esther Seung-Hyun Lee was born into a musical family where she began her musical training at age six. She has pursued her studies in Korea, Germany, and the United States. Her early professional studies were at the Yewon Art School, Seoul Arts High School, and the Seoul National University in Korea. Thereafter, she enrolled in the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover, Germany where she completed her undergraduate and graduate studies under Professor Matti Raekallio. She then attended the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, where she completed her post graduate program Konzertexamen under the guidance of Professor Bob Versteegh.

Currently, Lee resides in California, and attends the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music as a full scholarship student, studying with Professor Bernadene Blaha. She continues to perform as a soloist and as a chamber musician in various countries.
