Marianna Prjevalskaya

Winner of the 2013 World Piano Competition in Cincinnati and 2011 Jaen International Piano Competition, Marianna is also a top prize winner of the 2013 European Piano Competition in Normandy, the 2012 Panama International Piano Competition, the 2010 Sendai International Piano Competition in Japan, the 2008 Seoul International Piano Competition, and the 2007 Paderewski International Piano Competition in Poland among many others.

Marianna has appeared with important orchestras such as the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the National Lithuanian Symphony Orchestra, the Rzeszow Philharmonic Orchestra, the Korean Symphony Orchestra, and the Granada Symphony Orchestra, as well as performed acclaimed recitals in Festivals such as the Russian Festival at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Norfolk and Norwich Festival in UK, the Bearcat Piano Festival in Cincinnati, at the Accademia Santa Cecilia in Rome, the Teatro Goldoni of Florence, the Minato Mirai Hall in Yokohama, Auditorio Manuel de Falla in Granada, the Palau de la Musica in Valencia and the Steinway Hall in New York.

Her latest solo CD was released by Naxos in September 2012 and the next album, devoted to the music of Rachmaninov, will be published by Fanfare Cincinnati in 2015. Marianna earned the Master of Music degree and Artist Diploma from the Yale School of Music and the Bachelor of Music degree from the Royal College of Music in London, where her principal teachers included Irina Zaritskaya, Kevin Kenner, Alexander Toradze, and Boris Berman. Currently, she is pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore under the guidance of Boris Slutsky.
