Tanya Gabrielian

Tanya Gabrielian has performed on four continents in venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Wigmore Hall in London, Sydney Opera House, Salle Cortot in Paris, Usher Hall in Edinburgh, and the Dame Myra Hess Series in Chicago. Concerti performances include the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, London Sinfonia, and the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra.

Gabrielian rose to international acclaim with first prizes in the Scottish International Piano Competition and Aram Khachaturyan International Piano Competition, and was a laureate in the Sydney International Piano Competition and Bosendorfer International Piano Competition. Other accolades include the Pro Musicis Award, Salon de Virtuosi Career Grant, “Performance of the Year” by Seen and Heard International for her London debut, McGraw Hill Award for Education and Outreach, and S&R Washington Award.

Lauded by the Washington Post for her “strikingly poised nobility” and “commanding presence”, Gabrielian has also been featured on the cover of Clavier magazine .
