New Rodrigue Print "Take Five" Now Available

The Estate of George Rodrigue Releases Posthumous “Blue Dog” Print to Benefit the Louisiana State University School of Music and the George Rodrigue Foundation of the Arts

‘Take Five’ to be unveiled at The Cook Hotel Thursday, September 4th at private reception featuring the Rodrigue Steinway Piano

BATON ROUGE—On Thursday, September 4th the Estate of George Rodrigue will unveil a new posthumous print, Take Five, at a private reception at the Cook Hotel (3848 West Lakeshore Drive, Baton Rouge) from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The silkscreen was designed by George Rodrigue before his passing on December 14, 2013 and has been printed posthumously in a limited numbered edition of 950. Following the unveiling, the print will be available for purchase at www.GeorgeRodrigue.com and in Rodrigue Studio locations in New Orleans’ French Quarter, Lafayette, and Carmel, California. The print is offered at a price of $500 with all proceeds supporting the George Rodrigue Foundation of the Arts (GRFA) and the LSU School of Music.

Blue Dog Steinway makes an appearance at Jazz Market groundbreaking

“Tiffany”, the Blue Dog Steinway, made an appearance at the groundbreaking ceremony for the New Orleans Jazz Market, a 14,000 square foot facility dedicated to preserving and promoting jazz. Performances by Irvin Mayfield and Ellis Marsalis concluded the ceremony.

Nichols State University's Piano Students Discover The Wonders of Horowitz

Students, staff and members of the community gather for a very special opportunity to see, hear and play the legendary Horowitz Steinway concert grand. Steinway concert grand number CD-503 made a special appearance on stage at the Mary Danos Theater at Talbot Hall today as part of it continuing tour of the south east.

Andrey Ponochevny, Guest Artist Recital at Nicholls State

Tonight we welcome an outstanding pianist, Andrey Ponochevny from Belarus, to Talbot Hall at Nicholls State University. This event continues the fabulous concert series at All-Steinway School Nicholls State University.
