At age 5, Diyi Tang presented his first concerts in Shanghai, Beijing, and other major cities in his native China. Since then, he has performed throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States giving recitals in cities including Amsterdam, Singapore, Lucerne, Geneva, and Copenhagen. His orchestral appearances have included performances with the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, and Malaysia International Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Tang has participated in master classes, and received instruction from, among others, Martha Argerich, Boris Berman, Nikolai Demidenko, Barry Douglas, Leon Fleisher, Claude Frank, FouTsong, and Dominique Merlet. His upcoming concerts include a tour of China with the Shengzheng Symphony Orchestra and a performance in Alice Tully Hall with the Mannes Orchestra. In his spare time, he enjoys being with friends, reading, swimming, running, and tennis.
