Born in Siberia and now based in London, Eduard Kunz has performed with many of the United Kingdom’s major orchestras including “The BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra,” BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra,Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Hallé, Ulster Orchestra,” City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Welsh National Opera” Orchestra,” Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, and” the Philharmonia. Other important debuts included Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin at the Berlin Philharmonie,” Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Orkest van het Oosten,” Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse” and Braunschweig Symphony orchestras as well as recitals at London’s Wigmore Hall,” Louvre” in Paris,”Concertgebouw”in Amsterdam, and Auditori AXA in Barcelona. Recordings for radio include BBC3, Radio France, Deutschland Radio Kultur, and Avro among others. Mr. Kunz is a laureate of ten” first” prizes of International Piano Competitions including the Grand Prix of George Enescu Competition in Bucharest. Eduard is a” Verbier Festival” laureate and a former BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist. Mr. Kunz’s interests outside of music include cooking, martial arts, movies, and jazz clubs.
