2010 Sun-A ParkBorn in Pusan, Korea, Sun-A Park began studying piano at age four with her mother and later with New York University’s Seymour Bernstein. ” She enrolled at Juilliard’s Pre-College Division at nine and completed her undergraduate studies with Yoheved Kaplinsky at $e Juilliard School. She is currently continuing further studies with Kaplinsky and Matti Raekallio. Sun- A’s international career has taken her to Korea, Japan, China, and Italy. Her U.S. performances include the Aspen Music Festival, Music Academy of the West, Peter Jay Sharp $eater, Alice Tully Hall, Steinway Hall, Yamaha Artists Salon, Weill Recital Hall, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and the Benaroya Hall in Seattle. Ms. Park made her orchestral debut at age twelve with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. Since then, she has appeared with the Albany Symphony Orchestra, American Academy of Conducting Orchestra at Aspen, Juilliard Pre-College Orchestra, Newark Symphony, Orchestra Sinfonica del Festival di Chioggia, and the New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra. Besides piano, her interests include travelling foreign countries, writing, and photography.
