Romanian pianist, Bogdan Dulu is a multi-tasking musician with a wide multidisciplinary interest. Gold Medalist at the 2011 Seattle International Piano Competition, he is equally at home as a performing artist and public speaker, with appearances on NHK Tokyo, Classical King FM Seattle, and the Minnesota Public Radio. He has performed at New York’s Carnegie Recital Hall, Steinway Hall, Merkin Hall, Vancouver’s Chan Centre, and Seattle’s Benaroya Nordstrom Hall. Dulu received training in executive public speaking and cross-cultural conflict resolutions. As a result of his work in the field of leadership practices, he received the International Leaders Program Certificate (International House NYC, 2009). Bogdan Dulu studied with Russian pianist Irina Morozova at the Mannes College of Music in New York City. Currently he is a Doctor of Musical Arts degree candidate at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver under the tutelage of distinguished Canadian pianist, Jane Coop. When away from piano, Bogdan enjoys cooking, as well as designing posters for performing events, including his own.
